Travelogue in Watercolour exhibition

This is the first time holding a join exhibition with my bud – Lee Choon Kee. Ever since we graduated in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore in 1965. As should say,  the 25th batch of NAFA students,  having make good   perform in their graduated exhibition in NAFA record.  This is due to our students have been helping each others, no matter they are come from the english stream, chinese stream even the malaysia student as well. In this batch, more of the majority student are from malaysia. Our batch perform outstanding  not really from the guidance of our teacher at that stage, as is own by our friendship guiding and helping each others in weaker point to develop their interest on drawing practising, we even stayed back to do more practising on charcola and pencil sketch, we understand that that is mainly foundation of our skill. Throughtfully to say, a lots now in the advertising firm and publisher most majority numbers of friends all are of our buddy batch.

 潇洒行踪水彩画展

今日难得有这一机缘能和李运启有个水彩联展.

我们在南洋美专25届毕业.回想起离开美专母校也己有31年历史.也许外来者不晓,那一个时候,也曾经有些风风雨雨事件我们这一届可说是曾经和旧管理为了教学事件争取合理要求;那时也曾在作毕业考试.怎至闹起罢课事件来,隔日也获得马来西亚同学的支持.最后获得园满解决.我想要写美专历史者应当把这25届列在名册上.

运启和我毕业于美专后,出来社会工作,也由于彼此的工作岗位上不一样,但我们仍然坚守不断画画.几十年如一日.我们大家都非常活跃于美术活动,也推动我国美术和外地作交流.李运启,他也是新加坡水彩画会发起人之一.再说大家也有个共同点爱好,喜爱旅行.这一次的画展能把我们联系一起展出展出个人旅行所看到的,所体验到的,所接触各处人情风味写尽在图画中,这也是配合了这一画展主题意义:
