<黎明来之前>.那一年去北印度一走后,再从新德里搭内路飞机,直飞往瓦拉纳西(Varanasi).在上机之前,检查得非常严密.由于瓦拉纳西属于兴都教地盘和回教常为争择金庙问题而动乱宗教冲突而引起爆发内乱.因此在机场你必须经过五个关卡步兵严格搜查,一直到最后上机那关过,才能说你已算上机了讶!整个印度机场,瓦拉那西检查最严密,怎至摄影机小电池都不能带着上,必须全部由机长保管至到低达瓦拉那西机场取回.在新德里往瓦垃那西机场是五步一个站岗带步枪,来到这机场自己都会感到竞竞战战,也不晓能狗过关吗,都不知道.来到这一古老圣城,感觉走进另一世界大门.这儿的宗教非常浓厚,充满神秘色彩,也感这儿色彩非常浓厚又强烈又鲜艳.它的鲜艳不会夺人剌眼,而非常协调.为了争取能在恒河看日出,我们也提早起身,赶紧往恒河边走去.一路上,我们都会发现从黑暗中人们和信徙,怎至旅客大家都模黑往恒河奔走.有的抬着亲人遗体往恒河火化.从摸黑的道路上,你可发现难于想像事件出现.来到恒河,己经人山人海了,人头转转,你挤我推;也怎至信徙投入恒河内沐俗洗礼于洗干自己的罪行.站在恒河河畔上,我观望一番,真是数不清的人头.大家都企望能在黎明前赶到恒河…恒河对岸一片漆黑,还有人们也从对岸赶到这一边河岸观看日出与祈祷.看着对岸慢慢的太阳升起.当阳光慢慢出现时,一线阳光照射过来,那一片橙色色调,似乎一道热光…从一线阳光的照,我仿佛浮起创作构图的念头来.<黎明来之前>,这幅作品就是这么样的构思而出.

作品的制作法。我采用捐坏的图画纸、打一片打底色、白底(Gesso)。干后便把主题刻画出来后、上一层淡的gouache色调,这是能使颜色容易溶入在画纸上.然后把主色 – 橙色调一层层慢慢的加上去。若再加色,必须等到颜色完全千后才能逐加色。背景采用阴暗色、我采大笔扫、要快要准、要肯定色调。待未完全干,你可用绵花棒或尼龙有弹性小侧笔,逐步洗掉色调作亮部份;最后待完全干后才用浅淡色蓄上去。我用幻灯色彩方式用在图画中去、如此就有对比颜色,其余的、可以放松、在是有和没有情况就大胆完成它。天空我用浅蓝色、由于天还没亮、必须大胆在河水重鲜艳颜色、这样更使主题颜色协和、都不会感觉太重.远景就是一片黑暗色。当我站在夕阳照射下时、己观察到这一切情景,记忆在脑海中;正如我在速写中的默写了船只、我只用小侧笔(flat brush)、洗擦它、电线和木枝干也是用洗方法.在这里没有用到白色调。方法有时靠自己想出来、或试出来,更或者试用新方法。只要你敢大胆去创去赏试,肯定会创出一个春天来。

This painting i used the recycle; spoil paper and cover its with the gesso paint. After dry i add a thin layer of the gouache wash of orangish colour on the surface, layer by layer, till its feeling an browish earth colour  until its dryed up. Then i select a colour of vermillion gouache to add on the ghat. This layer by layer; wash and add, until its brilliant dried , then using a small cotton bulk to rub with a sling water again and again on it.  Then i work again on the backdround  colour with a tintly browish mixed a bit of Prussia blue watercolour on it, and sketch  with a big brush into between 2 ins flat brush, must fast with quick stroke on it until a  effect feeling float up. Again then i use a small cotton bulk to pick  out a small feeling effect out skightly like hundred of hurdles small boats lining along the river coast before the dawns come.. Lastly, i select the bright colour of gouach dark blue to emphasis the blue sky and the sea water, to divide into two contrast part, with a dark earth browish in between the sea water and the sky bluish. The i will overall, the whole image, if feeling what part of the areas are not in contrast, then i will add its with watercolour prussia ble with the burnt umber mixed with acrylic mixture to add on it. So this is the painting how i create.
